What is the minimum amount of hours of service per day?

A majority of the non-medical homecare companies have a minimum hourly service requirement of 3 to 4 hours per day. Senior Concierge Providers has no hourly minimum for services. We can provide assistance for as little as 30 minutes per day.

How do I know it's the right time to begin looking for long term care services?

This can depend on a variety of factors. Your loved one may be unable to manage routine tasks and may be at great risk when they try. For personal reasons, you may not be able to provide a high level of care for this individual. If you feel overly stressed or physically unable to keep up with the demands for care giving, you may want to seek advice from a doctor or other health professionals in your community.

What form of payment do you take?

We are not a Medicare agency. We do not accept Medicare. Our services are covered by private payment, and often by your long-term care or health insurance as well as possible veteran's benefits and sometimes others. We will provide all necessary paperwork for you to file against your insurance policy.
For your convenience, we do accept payment by credit card, bank draft, or by invoice/check.

Are your caregivers insured and bonded?

Yes. All of Senior Concierge Providers caregivers are fully bonded, insured, and covered through worker's compensation insurance.

What if my parents don't like the caregiver they're assigned?

We believe in providing the right personality match between the client and the caregiver. There is NO charge to switch caregivers if they are not compatible. We will make sure that your parent's and are caregivers are in-sync with their personalities.

How well do you screen your caregivers before sending them to someone's home?

Senior Concierge Providers takes the caregiver hiring process very seriously. We invest the time and energy to go beyond the state requirements. We perform extensive interviews, reference checks, and state and national criminal history checks to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality of dedicated caregivers.

Does your agency provide transportation services for clients?

Yes. Senior Concierge Providers offers to seniors a reliable, comfortable transportation with sensitive, responsible drivers who will wait for you at the doctor's office, escort you when shopping and running errands, and most important, be where you are supposed to be ON TIME so you are not left waiting.

Do you provide live-in help services?

Yes. In addition to our hourly services, we also provide live-in help. Live-in help is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and may be provided on an ongoing basis, or for standardized time periods (e.g. Monday-Friday) to allow family caregivers to work outside the home and assume weekend care.

Is there a charge for an evaluation?

No. We offer a free in-home consultation so you can meet one of our service directors face-to-face and so we can understand exactly what services you need or want in your home. No strings attached!

Is your agency insured?

Yes. Our agency is licensed, bonded, and insured. Furthermore, we assume all of the risk of a caregiver injury in the home.

How does Senior Concierge Providers work with my loved one's doctor?

Your caregiver will help organize all your doctors' information records. We will accompany them on their medical appointments and update you with the doctor's advice. These services offer you peace of mind, prevent overlapping tests and medications, and increase the effectiveness of medical care.

Are you a franchise?

No. Franchise owners pay high fees to own a franchise, and subsequently pass that cost along to the client. Senior Concierge Providers is independently owned and invests our earnings into creating a personalized level of care for each client and for providing ongoing training for our dedicated caregivers who take great pride in serving our clients.

What happens if the caregiver is sick?

Your caregiver will be automatically replaced by another caregiver. At Senior Concierge Providers, we are here to assist you 24 hrs a day, 365 days a week in case of an emergency.

Can I get a free quote?

Yes. We will answer any questions that you may have on your first call, and give you an estimated fee quote based on the information you have given us. One of our care professionals will meet with you and your loved one(s) to assess your needs and determine the best solutions. All contractual details and fee arrangements will be explained thoroughly.

Once I sign up with Senior Concierge Providers what happens next?

If we haven't already provided an initial consultation, we will arrange a convenient time to meet with you and your loved one to determine the type and the frequency of service required and to understand the best person for your needs.
